We walked to Pancake House for breakfast. Then walked to Anne Frank House. The line was around the block so we did not go in. I've already been inside and Debbie did not want to wait all day. We then hopped on the Hop On Hop Off canal boat while it rained and sleeted. We walked the Albert Crupys Market which is a large open air market of fruits, flowers, ...

I really really love having Mum here! Second morning, second delivered breakfast and cup of tea in bed! Keep it up! The first thing, after consuming my breakfast in bed, that I did this morning was download a flight tracker to track Daniel's epic flight from Dubai direct to Melbourne. I'm not sure why, but it makes me feel connected to him a bit for some reason, knowing where he is in his flight! As this was my last day before heading off into the great unknown tomorrow (otherwise ...

Woke up early again this morning, must've been the fresh enthusiasm to seeing someone in clogs! After breakfast we headed across the city, following the canals, to an Australia pub, as we sort've wanted to watch the Geelong game of footy, and found that they showed it! We made our way down to Amsterdam Centraal and caught ...

... area of the city. Since the city was for the longest time the largest harbor in the world, it was only going to be as functional as its waterways. That is why the series of canals were created. The design is quite practical; three concentric, semicircular canals surrounded the main harbor (now Central Station). They include the Herengracht, Keizersgracht, and Prinsengracht, and all were surrounded by houses lining the canals housing merchants ...

... park at the museum was just two blocks from our apartment. As soon as we saw it Tiffani decided this was already one of her favorite cities. We strolled along the perimeter and found a food stand with burgers and chicken hot dogs. Perfect for everyone. They had a wide choice of condiments including two different barbecue sauces and Heinz curry sauce sitting right next to the ketchup. Never seen that before. There were tables set up that allowed us to soak ...
