So we're into our third day here in Amsterdam and I've yet to experience the local cuisine. I guess the reason for that is...that there really isn't a local cuisine. As our tour guide, Michael, said the other day "No one comes to Amsterdam for the food". If I was to describe the cuisine here I would say it is either covered, dipped or cheese. Yes, today is our last day in Amsterdam, and in fact of our holiday. We weren't sure what we would do, but we wanted it to be something good for our last hurrah. Last night Wok was doing some Lonely Planet reading, and we decided that Haarlem would be it. If I ever have to go back for work, that will DEFINITELY be on the must do list.

It was time to head back to the airport, and after a few minutes of ...

Last time I met my best friends from exchange in Hong Kong was around 1 year ago. This was a time for the reunion & birthday of Mari. Amsterdam seemed to be the best place for partying so surprisingly we all came. All of us. Like in old nice times. It felt so weird. As if there wasn't a whole year gap between our shopping trips. Forever 21 in Causeway Bay or the one in Amsterdam. It was the same. It felt the same. Oh, I really missed them. And the party was ...

... bodies, it is clear that he has treated them with a great amount of respect whilst presenting them in an interesting and informative manner. Overall Amsterdam is an incredible city - visit this place! Utrecht Only a short 30 minute train ride from Amsterdam, this city too has many beautiful canals. The main difference I noted between the two cities is: 1. There are significantly less tourists 2. The bikes are stacked a lot more neatly whereas in Amsterdam there were ...
