    ... which we had been doing wrongly for over a day now. The flower market was awesome, all set on boats floating over the canal with colours of every shade as far as the eye could see. We even managed a wee bit of blue sky to celebrate the occasion.

    I definitely haven't been keeping up here as well as I would like, but I guess the fact that my days don't seem very remarkable means that life here is becoming more normal to me. I officially passed my three month mark and seriously couldn't be happier. I love my host family so much (my heart melted when they gave me an Easter basket) and find that things that felt like work before now feel more like everyday life.     ... is a windmill that is actually still inhabited however not functional, although the windmills up until the mid 1980s, were used to pump out water into the North Sea so as the country could and can still be inhabited!!!
