... arrive early - brilliant isn't it! So we happen to arrive to Secluk at 5:40am to pitch black and freezing cold temperatures..

So we ended up in a restaurant (yeah I know weird right?) that only serves 'tea', not convinced that was all they served! So we waited until about 8am before we could book our next bus to Bodrum, and followed this up by getting on the local bus out to the World Heritage Listed Ephesus. ...

... on but how it happened is beyond me. The boat was not that big and the crowd certainly felt enormous. We left late and the trip took a bit longer than normal (because the boat was so low in the water?) and the poor Australians docked with just 20 minutes to get to their cruise. We'll never know if they made it. We, however, had a simple walk to the bus station to head to Turkey's most famous ruin: Ephesus.

The last day we flew back to Istanbul and spent a night. We stayed at the Garden House Hotel that we can highly recommend. It is close to all the sights in the old town that you might want to visit. We had time to visit the Bazaar, the Blue Mosque and Haggai Sophia.
