... many bumpy roads we were do pleased to get there. After going through customs we were pleased to be sitting on the ferry at 9am. We left at 9.30 and had a 50 minute journey to Kos. The journey was comfortable as we arrived a number of huge Gulets left packed with people off to sail around the island. By the time we got off the ferry it was 10.30am and we had until 5.30pm to take in some of the sights. We decided to have a drink then look at the map and decide what ...

... best beaches at home. I had been warned, but Turkish beaches are really just rubble and rocks at the endure of the water. In essence, it's very pretty from a distance but not great to walk on. So we turned back for our little pier and found a water sports pavilion from where we hired a jet ski. ... to where the lonesome post box was.We ate in a restaurant this week called The Secret Garden, it was superb, food, wine and staff brilliant, we would defiantly recommend it, in fact we will be going back there ourselves again. A lovely atmosphere and a very good price, there was a lot of choice as well, including a knickerbocker glory......... Friday evening after we got back to the villa skies opened and it poured and poured, there was thunder and lightening ...

... especially if you are a foreigner....stupid Americans lol. The Catamaran is a fast ferry to Kos with the ride taking only 20 min. Did you know that it's quite a difficult process for citizens of Turkey to visit the islands, but not so for Americans? Even going through customs upon arrival in Kos is much easier for Americans. U.S. Citizens have their our own special line --- and we were the only ones in it. Customs: "Did you buy anything in Turkey? No? Really? Let ...
