... last dish of "meat, potatoes, and cabbage" that we encountered in Prague. :)

We walked and window shopped a little more, and then made it to our last brewery of the trip, Pivovarsky Dum. TEASER: We're saving the beer descriptions for Jarred's forthcoming beer blog entry, but Jarred did try the beer, and Sammy, not wanting to be rude and ...

... they believed we were nearing Dresden, where they were getting off (we weren't, but eventually did), so when they departed I had enough space to actually move through the corridor. I hopped of the train at one of our post-Dresden stops and ran a few cars up, checked cabins for my friends and eventually just took a now-open seat and resigned myself to fate. Because of a dry summer the river ...

... by others. We are going to start the sight seeing early tomorrow. We are a little worried some things may be closed on Sunday so we are going to try to do it all in a day. Bob is already asleep and I keep dropping the iPad .

Church friends please include me in a little prayer. I avoided the flu all winter and now I have sneezing and sore throat and stuffy head. Not bad, but don't want it to get worse. Thanks!

This morning we took our first train ride to another country. I must say, I enjoyed this much more than rushing to catch a plane. No need to go through security checks, body pat-downs, and pulling out that little bag of liquids for scanning. Continuing our theme of running late, we thought we might miss the train as Karen disappeared to Dunkin' Donuts for a hot chocolate. But thankfully, she made it back with 1 minute to spare :) Time to sit back for for the 5hr train ride ...
