... a people mover involved, and no matter how we tried, we couldn't get around it. To get off the port area, we had to buy tokens for the people mover. Tokens were 1€ per person, we walked about five minutes to get to it, waited four minutes for it to arrive, and it took us maybe 100 yards. Raining this morning but, cleared by the time breakfast ended. Took the water taxi to Gallerie dell academia to see a rare exhibition of Da Vinci's "Universal Man". This and other sketches of the human body and mechanics are never on display for the public because of their age and fragile condition.
