One option was to clean the filter as G had proposed and to go to Parikia hoping that we would get there with a working engine. Yet the chance that the engine would only work temporarily seemed too large and approaching Parikia without an engine (and possibly no wind) was too risky: a current towards the rocks in front of the bay had caused many ships to sink in the past, including the ...

... small, there is genuinely only enough room for a very small car/van to drive down them. If there is one driving thru, the only place for the pedestrians to go, is to jump up onto one of the steps of the shops or houses to get out the way... And believe me they give no quarter, they are coming thru no matter what !! We were going to meet Wendy & Bill for lunch at one of the restaurants so started heading back to the beach, but even with Dave's good sense of direction, by ...

... call of 5:20 departure for the ferry to take us to Mykonos we were excited to get to the party and relaxation destination! After a 4 hour ferry trip it was finally arrival time, GMT is the time abbreviation for Greece- Greek maybe time! This had already been proven with arriving later than expected. Finally time to jump in our swimmers and soak up the rays and enjoy some beverages. We have come to Mykonos on the weekend of all the summer closing parties, with a ticket ...
