Was a lovely morning for a visit to a zoo - although a bit windy still. The zoo was on a much smaller piece of land than the Berlin Zoo but had a good assortment of animals in some good enclosures. The antique shop where we buy a tile from the Golden Age is empty, but the souvenir shops are packed. We have a hard time finding a T-shirt for Ollie, as the shopkeepers have emptied the shelves of the usual merchandise in order to stock the special King's Day paraphernalia. It is time for the gentle tourist to go home.

He was loving it and was waiving to all the people cheering for us. He is now talking about the Dam tot Dam and how we ran it together and is also talking about running marathon, which is still our ultimate dream to do together with him when he is 21......
