After a long 9 hour bus drive, we finally made it to Amsterdam at Amigo Budget Hostel. Now for my first hostel experience, I did my best to keep an open mind about the place. ... infamous coffee shops. We didn't want to try anything, but thought it would be a good experience to see what they are like, and I'm glad we did. One to tick off the bucket list! We had to get back for our train then, which was a shame, and as we were travelling home we were all pretty sleepy and hungry, so just relaxed and napped! It was a great day, and really cool to see all the sides of the city! We didn't stop laughing all day, and I had the best time with my friends ...
... way, except for when we had to get off for boarder security. I still had one muffin left. Not knowing really what to do with it as we had to take all our luggage of the bus, I quickly fished it out of my bag and placed it in the plastic bag on my chair that was their makeshift bin. We wondered if they would take all rubbish off the bus in case of fruit and that due to crossing the border, but to my surprise it was still there when we got back on. So in my bag it ...
... It attached a level of realness to the museum. The tour included her speaking some passages that were relevant to the space, including large text and quotes from her diary printed on the walls as a narrative per room. We collected our promised post cards, I was very pleased with the free memoir, and left the Anne Frank House feeling enlightened. The after-effect of the solemn ambiance after leaving the house was quick-lived, but we are content with our decision ...

Another beautiful Dutch hotel. The service is wonderful. It is a mostly take care of yourself place that does not offer much ammenidies, but that fits since we are hardly in out hotel.
