... PAIR OF SHOES (LEBRON) WERE $135, WITH MOST (NIKE, JORDAN ETC) BEING IN THE $85-$100 MARK. IN AUSTRALIA AS WE ALL KNOW, SHOES PROBABLY START AT $150 AND FOR THE LATEST VERSION YOU CAN PAY WELL OVER $200.

THE OTHER THING ABOUT THE USA IS OF COURSE YOU CAN BUY GUNS (AND I MEAN SOME SERIOUS WEAPONERY) IN A SPORTS STORE (LIKE BIG 5 SPORTS FOR EXAMPLE). THEY HAVE ROWS OF SHOTGUNS ETC WITH PLENTY OF BOXES OF BULLETS WHICH TO A YOKEL FROM ADELAIDE ...

And we find out what is good about the good ole USA and we find out that other people sometimes have a lot better ideas than we do, too, and we wonder why we can't do that! We all have our priorities and our governmental bottlenecks and issues, so we all do things differently. Not better, not worse, just differently.

From 'Please Send Me Someone To Love’, the coconut cream melts into the soup and we’re munching on The Beard’s delicious (if poop-filled) oysters until the music ventures to Otis Redding, particularly ‘Cigarettes & Coffee’, which tonight was, in my mind, responsible for the moon and her romantic, lonely glow.
