Ameritel Inn Olympia

Well its been a rather busy two weeks, after leaving Colville Washington, we headed north back into Canada. Every border crossing is a challenge and in Osoyoos,  British Columbia, we were asked to deposit all fruit and vegetables in a freezer, at the border crossing. When I opened the large chest freezer it was full of fruit , vegetables and even a couple of frozen turkeys!!

And like the good girl she is, we rode through the occasional rain, and all the cold cause she likes it rough sometimes, she let me ride her all day without a complaint, enjoying the pain and pleasure of it all. ... were open at most houses, and many had people sitting outside talking, listening to music, etc. Kids were running around, and there were lots of beat-up old cares with bumper stickers, even a spray painted van. ... Eugenu sva zopet rentala avto in sla na potovanje do Crater Lake-a. To je ogromen krater, napolnjen s turkizno modro vodo in otockom na sredini. Z vodo je napolnjen zato, ker je pred izbruhom goro pokrival ledenik, ki se je po izbruhu sunkovito stopil. Yesterday afternoon I rented a bike and rode around on some of the trails along the water. It was amazing. I missed Jane because of cell phoen troubles, but then I ate at this little Italian restaurant called Romio's and had homemade dressing on my salad and a margherita pizza. ... it just as a stop off really to get to Vancouver island where we're meeting Jo and Dad, can't wait to see them and stay in luxury for a change! However we did manage to find a Tall Girl shop for Katherine which made her day and we have a little more luggage to carry round now! So, with the exception of flying out of Boston this is the end of the states for us. Only a couple of violation notices, over 8000 miles of driving and 33 days in a tent!!! Top time, bring on Canada....
