    ... Jodi – I have known them since about 1966. The have a 10th floor apt in the Pearl Dist of Portland-about 10th and Park Ave. Nice place and nice view for them and their 3 cats. We walked to a nice place for salad lunch, talked more and finally, reluctantly, I left.     ... The big hit was the sliders. A plate of 12 sliders is actually the challenge from the Man vs Food show but Greg wisely chose a smaller version. The menu describes the meal the best:

    One dozen of our Original Jewish Sliders filled with moist lean brisket, mini potato pancakes, and Jack cheese. Served with a side of brown gravy. The challenge also has onion rings with it but Greg's meal was 3 sliders (not 12) and he had a small potato salad.

    ... think this tree is savable but I am going to try. Packaged up some sales from Ebay and will mail tomorrow - one goes to England so will have to stop in at PO. Took a bike ride and spent some time outside. Called Lowe’s to tell them the trim will need replacing on the inside of the windows and they hope to have it done before end of the week. That would be good.
