    After a good 12 hour sleep we were up and out by 8 and stopped at hotel bakery for breakfast of lovely muesli, fruit and yoghurt. Then walked through part of Central Park ( seeing a dog which looked dead but turned out always lay down in protest to his walk ending!) to Natural History Museum. What a great place and all enjoyed it including mandatory gift shop. Then picked up bus and headed North through Harlem. Changed busses and moved downtown ...

    ... with a very thin pastry base and a creme fraiche spread instead of tomato. No forks allowed, you roll the slices and eat with your fingers. The traditionelle Ie tarte flambé is creme fraiche, onion and bacon. I added mushrooms and gruyere chese.     Usually at this point, it's expected to have sex with the guy after you meet, drink or go out with. But gracefully we met as two young guys, both from other ends of the world, foreigners to the city, exploring something new together as in a sense, not to feel so solitary if we had gone out and done it alone. We thanked each other for a good night, exchanged details and faded into opposite directions.
