    ... to departure gate about 50m and over an hour. The flight to Auckland was uneventful and surprisingly comfortable, and no sickos or crying babies. Well Kat had a little-ish kid behind her, kicking her seat at times.

    This morning we checked out of our hotel in Reno and spent most of the day driving through the mountains. We stated driving toward Lake Tahoe and from the highway spotted a memorial to the early pioneers.     ... the sea lions making ruckus, which was surprisingly entertaining. We strolled around the city, visited Union Square and the outside of City Hall. We hired a tandem bike and cycled around the bay, and across the Golden Gate Bridge, and back again. We ate some great food in some dedicated vegetarian restaurants.

    ... his summer wardrobe for about $150. I saw some gay men shopping in the women's section - there was leopard print involved. By this time we were starving and wandered around looking for lunch. We found a diner !!! It was so cool - we each had a 9 inch pizza (carbs and cheese) for $7 each which of course we couldn't finish. It was very nice.
