The Trip Begins
... that the flight was changing. The parents would have to bring their children to Washington, D.C. instead of Balitmore. I quickly called Debbie Oleisky, the other chaperone, and told her the situation. The three of us started calling students. It took over an hour to firm up plans to get everyone to D.C. in the morning. But, we were amazed at the positive attitude and cooperative nature of the parents. I went to bed after midnight.

12 days till departure...
... started to think about packing and all that jazz, and I have no clue what I'm taking. I only can have 44 lbs worth for a checked baggage. Quite insane. I will try to keep up the blog, hopefully figure out a way to record videos and all and hopefully convert this into more of a travel vlog.

After the wineries we drove to Leanne's house to hang out with and the new babies. Keala and Santiago were born in October. They are so cute. Check out the pictures of them. We had a great time hanging out and catching up with Leanne and Christian. Both Keala and Santiago had a great time throwing up whenever I was holding them. Luckily it never got on me. We headed out from their house on Friday for Krieger's in Alexandria and are there now.
