... we got to LAX earlier than expected and were dropped off at the Tom Bradley Terminal - this place was huge! There were three big 'halls' with different airlines everywhere. We finally found Air New Zealand and checked in our bags. Grants was actually over the 23kg limit by only 300g, but as we had 3 other bags under it was no problem.
Next was trying to find where you go through to the gates. We found it and were first 'inspected' by Customs who are the most friendly (NOT!) ...

... characters I didn't know, but Jordan knew them all!

After our shopping spree we caught a cab back to the resort to drop off all our bags off then headed off down the road to a place called Anaheim Gardenwalk mall. ... amazing. Photos do not do it justice, but it was exactly like we had stepped straight into the movie. Such attention to detail from every Cars movie location. The ride itself was exceptional, and well worth the 45 minute wait. After cruising through several scenes from the movie involving all the main characters (in a full size slot car) we then raced another vehicle through sweeping bends and over rolling hills at high speed. Magnificent. The ...

Day 8 - Our Disney Adventure!

... This was great and we saw characters from Toy Story, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo and other Pixar movies.... Mrs Incredible's bum looked excellent as always, the floats were cool (but then, Disney always know how to put on a parade), and we got sprayed with water several times! We then went to the 6.20pm showing of Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular – also in Hollywood Land.

Aladdin – for me – was a bit of a mixed bag. The Genie was hilarious, and it ...
