After a fairly good night of rest, we hit the road once again. With the energy of a couple of young bucks, we loaded up and hit the road. We hit our first toll, The Del Memorial Bridge and got a green light!! So far the easy passes were working.

Had a wander around the waters edge. Lots of big boats parked up in the harbour while the owners were getting hammered in the bars.
We spent the evening watching the Baltimore Ravens play the Steelers in a bar. What made it more fun was that the Ravens lost.

The day before we left the City, we walked over the Brooklyn Bridge to see some incredible views of the skyline of the City. So I added some of the photo's we took. Driving out of New York went better than I thought it would, due to previous planning on Google Maps. Half way to Washington, stopped overnight at Elkton on a Walmart car park to re-stock. JC was able to pop in and out at will, she thought she was in Heaven! Next blog will be in Washington ...

First we were taken into the 'West Wing’, a room with lots of seats where we listened to a guy talking about history. He talked about the Boston Tea Party, among other things, and finally took us outside and into the main building. As you enter, there is an entrance hall with a room on each side. We went right first and saw lots of round tables with green table cloths and feather quills resting in ink ...

Anyway, flight to Phoenix was uneventful as we played SkipBo and Chinese patience. We arrived 15 minutes, which was nice, given this was a 5 hour flight.
Walked in the house at 10:30pm. Pet the kitties and went to bed.
Now I have post-vacation blues...so, I'll need to plan the next ...
