... room and a kichenette. After check-in we went to the mall and had a great time.

The next morning we went to IKEA by the mall and then to the local casinos. No luck on winning but it was fun. After the casinos we started to head back to Milwaukee.

Today we woke up late again, but headed out to Minnesota after eating lunch. It was a late start at about noon. The 7 hour drive was frightening as there was snow falling down when we drove through Iowa. At several stretches, we drove only 20 mph because of all the snow. The interesting part was that it came in spots even though we were constantly driving north. The drive took longer because it was all stop and go ...

I'm frantically trying to work through my 3 page list of things to do before I go. Setting up a travel blog was one of the things on my list. Hopefully this will work as a great way to share stories and photos will all our friends and family back home. This seems pretty easy so far. My next task is a little more complicated...buying another swim suit. Why did I wait until 48 hours before departure to tackle this monumental task?

... It is Las Vegas after all. Going to be staying for 7 nights and I am bringing a good friend of mine. We hope to gamble the nights away and take in some of those girly shows. Sounds like fun! Wish me luck

... in Richfield and we just helped them celebrate their 50th anniversary. Had lots of fun seeing cousins and family at their party. My mother grew up on a farm in Erdahl near Elbow Lake. She wasn’t up for the trip as she is 90 this year, but her two sisters Marvis and Marion made it. What would a road trip be in a Roadtrek without family and friends to see along the way? ... up when I first arrive in Madrid. I had to let my mother know my plans when we separate as well. I shall finish up my last week and a half of internship and then I will join them as well. The anticipation has been rising. Nonetheless, my baggage has not been packed. But I do think that I already have my wardrobe in mind. I will only be bringing my backpack, but I need to have both casual and dress clothes for this journey.
