... me and Hikarou capsized and ended in the river. Tbh it was very fun and a good laugh. After 2 hours and 6 miles of paddling we made it to the end :) Drenched we sunbathed near the river listening to music and generally loving life to dry off before we hit the road to camp 135 miles later we rocked up at the Cherokee camp ground in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Myself, Joe and Betina are in charge of tea so bangers and mash it is...so totally random ...

... 8217;re happy. God knows they didn’t inherit much in the way of productive land. But those gaudy casinos sure don’t do anything for the landscape.

Speaking of landscape, it is beautiful out there. It’s hard to beat the blue skies, the red earth, the clouds that float parallel to the plateaus. Those wide-open spaces make you feel like you can breathe again.

We arrived at the Amarillo RV Ranch (lots of things collected together live under the name 'ranch' here) around 1:30pm.
