Mark took a few photos, and then we were back to Old Blue to start a long day of driving. We would touch 4 states today: Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma, hoping we’d make it to Oklahoma City, a little over 800 miles and we change two time zones, from Pacific through Mountain and end in Central - so we lose two hours on the clock, but it will be nice to be back in Central Time.

... realising we'd missed our turn and headed back in the opposite direction. The city was extremely quiet and traffic was light, so we found our hotel with very little trouble and were pleased to find it was a very nice one. The multi-storey car park even looked out over the city baseball park, where there was a game in progress. Unimpeded views of the game were tempting, but after a long days driving, so was bed. Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit shorter...
Bricktown is a cool area of Oklahoma City and is where most of the restaurants, cafes and entertainment area is. After a Starbucks stop (vanilla frap not the gross coffee that they serve here), we head to Chesapeake Arena - home of the OKC Thunders. Its not overly impressive but I still wanted to see the home of the 2014 MVP - Kevin Durant.
