... last ride thru because my motel is 5 mi south of I-40. The motel seems to have little on the city itself so I will peruse my guide book and see what else is noteworthy besides the Clinton Library. I got all excited that there was a barbecue place beside the motel, until I realized it was abandoned.
Little Rock, Arkansas, United States visionrider... be more of a traveler in my own town and do some of the more touristy things, as well as just get out and explore more. Hopefully I'll have my eyes open a bit more than I used to and take more pleasure in smaller things. I may update this blog some in the future on interesting things from around Little Rock, but not as often as I did when traveling. I also plan on posting here about any smaller trips I take later.<br ...

Little Rock, Arkansas, United States lagalag1... Rock and then head back to Memphis. The drive to Sherwood was awesome!!! It must be because all I see in Phoenix is desert that I loved all the lush green on the highway. I'm sure to the locals green and lush is just meh, the norm. I took another pic of The Pyramid Arena from the Memphis & Arkansas Bridge. While driving to Sherwood there was a truck towing part of a plane. The houses in Sherwood are so pretty with their red ...
Little Rock, Arkansas, United States elkirbster... springs is naturally sterile, so they (logically) are the main source of drinking water for the citizens of Hot Springs. Ed and I bought two empty jugs from a local shop and filled them up (as well as the Nalgene) with hot spring water. And it's not called hot springs for nothing. The water comes out of the tap at temperatures around 120 degrees - which makes the jugs a little hard to carry. The lady from whom we purchased the jugs told us how to vacuum seal the jugs and the best ...
Little Rock, Arkansas, United States flying_shoe... it rained even harder the next day as I drove back to Memphis. So, I mostly remember RAIN (and me living in what is touted as the Rainy City of Seattle). Still, I had a great time, the capitol was decorated for the holidays, really beautiful; and I spent hours in the just-opened-the-week-before Clinton Library. Facts: Arkansas was the TWENTH-FIFTH state. Date: June 15, 1836 State Nickname: Land of Opportunity Key Words ...
