    ... was a nightmare. The valet was backed up. Registration took almost an hour – it was like being at airport security, without taking off your shoes. Finally, we made it to our room. The kids love it, however, even if Vegas isn’t really our thing. We’re already missing the peace and quiet of the national parks.

    The night was spent getting settled and resting. It had been a very long day.

    ... Started walking home from Harrah's, and were considering buying a bus ticket but anyway we soldiered on, and stopped at Denny's for a feed for dinner. That was actually very nice -I had a salad and was happy to eat some healthy food. But my feet are complaining again and I was glad to get home and not have to walk any more for tonight !
