... to point on rabbits, squirrels and birds. Her favorite greeting is with something in her mouth and "growling" affectionately at you. She makes great eye contact, is finally starting to learn words (typical of rescues), loves walks and keeps Donna company during the day, never leaving her side.
East Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States tmdjGrand Rapids, MI... I have nothing to say really. It decided to start raining like crazy the minute we crossed the Michigan border. Needless to say, I didn't feel like exploring much in the rain. But, our show went well, we had an excellent crew in a great space, so I can't really complain. I just hope Michigan gets a bit better.
Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States tourdevTuesday 7/28

Photography day is here or was. Dan the model called to ask permission to bring a model friend along and so did. Started at 10 am and finished at about 2pm having made over 1000 images. Now the processing of those images, down to a very few, begins when I get back in town. Dan and Braxton both said it was fun and I had a good time as well. Time to think about supper and getting this place cleaned up. Tomorrow its back to da lake and …
Greenville, Michigan, United States alderpan... lake looks like it comes up and under the cabin, VERY nice. It is very quite here so much so that the only sound are fingers on keyboard, or is it just my hearing. Anyway, very nice and I have made contact with the model for tomorrow and all sounds good. And so that's a wrap for today.
Greenville, Michigan, United States alderpan... and probably attack you. I've come to the conclusion that bees really aren't such bad guys. After all, fear is nothing but a lack of understanding.

Fun Times in Sparta

On my days off at the farm, I would make the 5 mile trip down to Sparta and hang out in the library and check out the stores there. At first I rode the bike the farm provided for me, but starting on the second trip, I decided to walk there. I thought it would be a good ...
Kent City, Michigan, United States joelmcgill... expensive than the hotels here in Grand Rapids--and it's in LONDON! It looks really nice, I hope it turns out to be a nice place. At least it gets good reviews. I've pretty much figured out what we'll do on the days we're not taking tours, and it mostly involves museums. Science museums, history museums...and a garden or two. I hope the weather cooperates like it did while we were in Paris, but I have a feeling we'll see at least some rain on this ...
Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States zyberg74... just the same as I remember. When I as 14, 15 & 16 my parents sent me to stay with my Great Aunt Dorthy and Uncle Harvey, Sr. at Walloon Lake. We went out for Italian food the best brochette we have ever had. Great seeing Debbie and Don again we parked our moterhome in their driveway.

Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States modernoddyseus... shooting passed, and nothing went in. At one point, Chris positioned himself towards the middle of our yard. At a 45-degree angle from the hoop, he dropped back like a quarterback and passed to the hoop. Bank! off the backboard, and in through the hoop. Reception completed, from 43 feet. "Yes!" Chris fell in the lawn, as happy as a dog rolling in something. Fifteen years of games together have fortified our competative juices as solid as iron ...
Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States modernoddyseus... a concussion. After that, my girl-protecting urges became of secondary importance to instincts of my own survival. Trees were all over the next hill, and the odds of getting a tree to the face at 25 mph seemed pretty good. So, I had Tracy go down first, to make sure it was safe for my face. Tracy braved the mountain all the way to the bottom, and, for this ride atleast, she didn't get a concussion. The third path was the most treacherous of all. The forest ...
