    ... Black and silver silos adorned the white farmhouses and red barns and cows grazed in some of the fields on dairy farms. And where there were no farms, there was dense foliage like that found in New England…pine and spruce and maple in various shades of green broken by spears of white birch trunks, and all of this adorned by a hem of yellow buttercups and goldenrod growing along the roadside.

    This summer, the Ly and Jun families decided to combine forces to spend a week in a cabin in the mountains. We had wanted to rent a cabin together for some time but it was pretty expensive to rent a place in Ontario. Then I stumbled across rentals in the Smokies and was shocked to discover just how inexpensive it was there!

    ... It doesn't have 3G, so I do everything from Wi-Fi on this. I got it because I'm doing this training initiative called TRIG that may or may not ever go through.     ... John's performance, small groups of kids were leaving briefly to get their icees. John (semi-jokingly) told one group to bring him back an icee, which prompted the blog post quote above...I was standing out in the hallway making phone calls and overheard a small boy ask his teacher that question.
