We are winding up our trip to Dallas and have spent the time with Simon and his family. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday has meant beautiful weather with daytime temperatures reaching 21 degrees and very sunny. We have visited a number of parks and done a few good walks. Sunday we went to Lewisville. We miss the coffee shops attached to the parks we have back in Australia. On Monday Steve and Christine went to Grapevine Mills DFO to try and retrieve the taxes ...

We enjoyed a picnic lunch, playing in the fallen leaves and the playground ...

      DEPARTURE

A travel blog entry by travelomalls on Jun 06, 2014

Agitated, anxious and jumpy. Many men felt this and worse when they set off across an angry sea one morning three score and ten years ago. They won, and we need to make worthy their sacrifice. Sitting here among the swanky, hip and known, all off to do their thing, who knows, who really cares. I'll never see any one of them again; but really who knows, that old ***** life does throw a high *******e from time to time. Off over the briny, bleak and stormy ...
