We began a hike along a boardwalk, which had numbered signs telling us about everything we saw, like Cypress Knees, lots and lots of poison ivy and 8ft. deep mud. We continued our hike along the Westen lake Loop Trail. The trees there are either Cypress, huge or tiny, NOTHING ...

They have a wonderful group of friends I have been lucky enough to hang out with and even their families have been incredibly welcoming.

Although not an ideal location, Columbia is a gem and I know that my time here will be enlightening and I WILL be sad to leave.

... spend some time with Brother David as he rehabs from another broken leg, see and love on my special friend, Saundra and see how I can help neighbors, Jody, Sharon, Richard and Mary as they deal with surgeries. We look forward to being back with our church family and reconnecting there. Lastly, thanks to everyone who has read my blog. I hope it was not burdensome and that you have experienced some of our Great Alaskan Adventure with us. Good bye and God ...
