    ... the night in Paris. We cancelled our first night Maltese accommodations and got a room at the Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport. The challenge was there were no flights we could get on from Paris to Malta on Friday. So we were booked through Frankfurt (finally a place I could use my German) on Lufthansa, on Saturday.

    The Paris plane finally departed at 10:30 from Chicago and there had been another gate change, and that was, the airplane departed from K16.

    ... and Noble (books), the "El train" is close to our hotel, we bought some basic foodstuffs at Target (which happens to be in a beautiful old building), scoped out the public library for a visit tomorrow.     ... no actual water tower, just shops such as the Lego store). It was in this building that we found a pizza place for dinner. One slice of pizza was just under $5, however was honestly the size of my head! I am sad to say I couldn't actually finish my slice!

    ... somewhat blotchy. The only colour to receive a unanimous 'thumbs down' was the striking blue in the smaller of the two bathrooms; it was declared too bold. Max and Sarah had booked Maggie and I into the spa at NoMi in Chicago's Park Hyatt hotel for a manicure and pedicure today - belated Mothers' Day presents.
