... played pipe organs on the side. People around here are so darn friendly. They say hello, they make small talks, they show interest in you as a person. Really, I think it's so nice to be in a friendly community. Like when I was out running around the neighborhood yesterday, I ran past a dozen or so people who were doing various things, and they all smiled and waved. How nice is that! compared to say, running in a smog-filled, noisy, less safe ...
... another kind of people, not like social pariahs as they are in places like Korea! My mom and I had lunch at a place called Three Li'l Pigs BBQ. A cash only joint. Other places around this area... Fat Daddy's Restaurant... Hot's Barber Shop... yeah, SO COUNTRY!! But you can't hate it! We had baby back ribs and sliced pork loins with cole slaw, toast, and beans. The place was PACKED! ... the same way.... so I had to mention I was pioneering this website and making the same sort of effort (although I'm still learning.... a little late to blogging trend... and there is no tutorial on how to use TravelPod... but I am using others' blogs on here as a guide... and made a couple of new friends who I consistently annoy with "how do I do this?" questions... no worries though, I am usually a quick study and will pick it up soon... I think!).
