    ... desert later in the evening. All in all we could not have asked for friendlier and more accommodating people. During our Northern American travels we have experienced such friendliness and more than any of our previous trips.

    ... car return and it was time for dinner.

    We walked 30mins to midtown to a fantastic southern style restaurant called Mary Mac's Tea Rooms which was established in 1945. Great southern food; fried chicken, shrimp and grits, cheese and vegetable soufflé, mac 'n' cheese (but not as you know it). A rather popular restaurant as we understand it.

    We look forward to exploring Atlanta tomorrow.

    ... However, I was in the customs area when I answered his call. I never saw the signage about “no cell phones”. The customs agents made me pay dearly for using my phone in a restricted area. They detained me for 45 minutes and went through all three of my bags, including my checked bag. I don’t want to go through customs again anytime soon.
