... unnamed by freeway signage but Walnut Creek is prominent as the interstate winds right through the middle of town. The Benicia- Martinez Bridge crosses over the Carquinez Strait, the passase from San Pablo Bay to Suisun Bay. The toll is mere $20- cheap at half the price!

... Tim's longtime, childhood friend, Drake. Tim and Drake went for a ride around the entire valley reminiscing about memorable, special times shared together while growing up.

We stopped for an overnight stay at the Yreka RV Park right off highway 5. We explored the little town including what they call the 15 minute drive-in museum which is really a drive through the historic homes of the late 1800's and early 1900's.
