... a anniversary gift and has since become a big icon of Route 66. Next stop on the list of Route 66 roadside attractions was the rock cafe, Stroud. Wooden Muriel's of Disney's cars were littered outside and a funky cute little gift shop was attached to the cafe I wrote my name in the guest book :) We then visited Pops in Arcadia a giant 66 feet soda bottle stands outside weighing in at 4 tons that sells the most random soda flavours from peanut butter to kitty piddle. Back in Oklahoma for a night while we waited for more storms to come along. We checked out Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge, it was really beautiful but they were in terrible drought so many of the migratory birds didn't come in this year. Got up and went for a run. Meeting at Jean & Joes at 10:30. Lots of emotions being back in birthplace. Thinking about mom and dad. Jean has nice brick house.
