... Ranch in Amarillo, Texas. It's only one mile off the exit, right down there service road. You can actually see it from I-40 eastbound. It's pretty cool, if you like that kind of stuff.

Very, very desolate and boring drive. But, I know the scenery will get more interesting from here!

Back in Oklahoma for a night while we waited for more storms to come along. We checked out Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge, it was really beautiful but they were in terrible drought so many of the migratory birds didn't come in this year. Got up and went for a run. Meeting at Jean & Joes at 10:30. Lots of emotions being back in birthplace. Thinking about mom and dad. Jean has nice brick house.
