Independence Day
... we'll have our own house on the property to stay in. So excited and really relieved - helps to stretch the budget substantially. The owners seem very charming and the chateau looks amazing.
This is our third house-sitting/caretaker gig. Our first was two years ago in Kinsale, Ireland, where we cared for a small home, two dogs & one cat. A good first experience.

Trip to the Mothership
We're back from a great trip to the Airstream factory in Jackson Center, Ohio. It's still winter up there (19 degrees our 1st morning !) Met some very nice people (other AS owners) and had excellent interactions with the folks who work there. They completed our work in a day and a half. Day 5 : New Weston OH - Shopping

Well this time it turned out to be an absolute ripper!!!
Clyde introduced us to the bar owner Bill Dues who also happens to run 2 late model race cars and 2 UMP Modifieds.
He took us out the back to look at the cars and the boys jumped in for a play and had a ball.

Day 4 : New Weston OH - Relax
"On Sunday, should all the racing have gone to plan, we might just head off in the hire car and do a bit of sightseeing.
