I am at my parents' house in LaGrange now (1.5 hours south of Atlanta). It's quiet and nice. I rarely go outside since it's like 100 degrees F (38 degrees C?) outside...

I am taking a year off from medical school and will be spending this fall in Stockholm. It sounds awfully random, but it did involve a lot of thinking, researching, and planning, believe it or not...

Upon leaving Oak Ridge, TN, we traveled further south to Georgia and found a nice KOA campground in Cartersville. At the suggestion of our host we went into town to the Appalachian Grill, where we had a delicious prime rib dinner with crème brulee for dessert to celebrate Jayne's birthday. On our way to the restaurant we passed the Tellus Museum, where we knew a friend from our high school days, Jack van ...

... AL. Great weather. Will stay on this site again. Enjoyed the fire works. Had some teenagers stealing from one of the campers but they confessed and all was good. Mike and Ryan came to visit in there boat and Mike brought Billy and Glenda out and Byron and I rode in his boat to the dam. Can't wait to do it again next year. Will book ...
