... booking. By walking in and getting AAA discount (just ask for it and show RACQ card if necessary) it was over $5 cheaper than on the net.
Had dinner at the Mountaineer Family Restaurant just up the road. Car park was full when we arrived and had to wait for a table to be cleared. Very basic meal but filled the tummy and not expensive.
Back to finish the blog and bed. Lots of washing hanging in the room. Hopefully most will be dry by the morning.
The next few days back in Athens flew by as I passed the time in somewhat mundane ways. But this was also a good thing because it was such a short trip book-ended by the fatigue of long flights, a relaxing pace in-between was nice and allowed us to spends one more normal time together. After an uneventful drive we got to Athens and Donelle's apartment for the year. I spent that evening and the next day taking it easy while she attended to her study commitments. Donelle's apartment is part of a big complex in a quiet new estate on one of the hills that surround the town.
