    ... of the 20th we take a train to Falkirk (haven't bought tickets yet). June 20 - 27. The Union Canal, between Falkirk and Edinburgh. We've rented a canal boat for the week. They're called "narrowboats" because the canals aren't very wide and the boats have to be able to pass each other. Ours is some 34 feet long and under 8 feet wide.
