We are winding up our trip to Dallas and have spent the time with Simon and his family. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday has meant beautiful weather with daytime temperatures reaching 21 degrees and very sunny. We have visited a number of parks and done a few good walks. ... riding, cycling, boating and fishing, and in summer swimming. At this time of the year the park looked very bleak with dried grasses and many deciduous trees. It also is home to many animals including deer, raccoon, squirrels as well as birds, but they were all hiding today. The lake has largemouth bass, crappie, white bass and catfish. ... and we are getting along like long time friends. All four of us go around the airport looking for another bar that is still open, and luckily we find one before Peter starts throwing a fit. The bartender was really cute, and Mike was showing her how to make drinks while Peter got some bottles of wine. We stay at this bar for a few hours, all the while checking the flight update board right outside. Me and Mike learn a lot about these two guys. ...
... I had a shortened week and decided to take off for my birthday to get a facial and massage. All I was looking forward to was a day off. It was pretty relaxing. When I got home Adam surprised me with a nice Jewerly Armoire from Pier One. Now he just has to fill it :) I also came home to a very cute little flower birthday cake, chocolates, and balloons with cards from grandma and then a surprise package in the mail ...
