The beginning. A long awaited journey.
Today I embark on an adventure to places I have only read about, seen fantastical photos of, and dreamed of visiting. Far away lands of old that give history actual significance, awaits my exploration. I shall touch and feel the historical sites that I have only studied thus far. But to taste the foods, smell the wine and immerse myself in the culture will be the most rewarding!
