... very popular in the international wing of the airport. In our waiting zone there were millions of iPads. The international wing is probably the nicest part of the airport. It is hard to determine when today ends and tomorrow begins because our flight is over night. I feel like it's just been one long day with a plane ride in the middle. We all barely slept, so it will be interesting to see how tomorrow ...

Minneapolis is one of those places I have never been, except in the airport. It was an obvious point to stop on our cross country drive with 5-7 hour driving days in the plan. Plus, we have a connection that we needed to make there.
Frankie and I are blessed to be able to spend our winters in Palm Springs CA. We've been going there every year for about 8 years now. For the last 3 years we've been renting a house at the Cathedral Canyon ...

      Enjoying a beautiful July day

Today was the perfect Minnesota day - sunny, warm, nothing to do, good food to eat, and lots of people around. The day started slowly for most of the Freedman family. Jennifer decided to go for a run on her favorite local trail - the Luce Line, an old railroad track that has been converted to a dirt covered running path with trees on both sides. Today she saw a pair of beautiful woodpeckers on her run...I said hah - that won't compare to the cougars in ...

... that I hope to come back to some day.

I don’t like to dwell in the past so now its time for my next big adventure. Senegal is going to be great and I am so lucky that I am able to spend some time with my parents, and maybe even see my brother at my LA layover, before I depart. I am truly blessed with the best friends and family, I don’t know what I would do without them. Take care for now everyone. Hawaii here I come!

... the scale to finals happening on Sunday. We didn't go Sunday. We were there from 02:00pm until about 06:00pm. Also, hooked up with some of Mimi's American Indian friends.
The DaKota tribe gave a great feast during lunch time. It was full of goodies and was FREE!
The tribe feeds many every Pow-Wow both Saturday and Sunday.
All in all, it was a really fun weekend.
      Hope you enjoy!
