And we're off...well, after we fixed our first flat of the trip. Bud mastered getting a flat while sleeping in the hotel before we had even gotten underway, Bummer... So our start time was missed by a little over an hour. Oh well, we were off after that little hiccup and cruising! Unfortunately, 18 miles later, Marilyn not wanting Bud to feel alone, got a flat of her own! We made great time after that and the rest of the day went without a hitch. We stopped for lunch ...
On the road again! Re-packed and now Mike's stroller is much more accessible. Looking to put in a LOT of miles today. I know it seems crazy to have no plan. The sun shone, and it got a bit warm, so we made sure we stayed just a bit ...
We drove all across Interstate 94 thru North Dakota ... flat and barren, to Fargo, and into another time zone! We made it to Minnesota to visit Mary Kaye Ludewig, a Siemens friend. So much to catch up on and compare retirement days! Mary Kaye, a Minneapolis resident, has a lovely lake house on Lake Louise ( two hours north of Mpls). So happy she invited us to stay and visit. ...
