After 3 months staying at my brother's cottage In Sioux Narrows, Ontario we headed out today towards Eastern Canada. It was a busy time over the last 3 months while I assisted my family's with their health issues and Ken provided the brawn to assist my brother with cottage maintenance chores. Water and chemical hauling trucks raced down ...

After walking a short distance we realised we now knew where all the mosquitoes in Manitoba live. We were swarmed within a few minutes. Strange, because I sat outside yesterday for several hours and didn't see one. We turned around to leave and within a few minutes the mosquitoes were gone. ...

So today marks the end of our East Coast Adventure and it is bittersweet. We've loved seeing my parents and experiencing all we can but we are sad to leave knowing it's going to be a while before we can come back. We did as much as we could in our week but we know there's still lots to do! The Cabot Trail, shark fishing, museums and beaches all have yet ...
