Roasted loin for about an hour, then added water and left on fire overnight -- worked fine! Not rare, but not risky either.
Very hot and humid in tent -- I just used towel as blanket, and that only later part of night. Fitful sleep and Anna thought at least one mosquito in inner tent.
But the facilities were superb. We had a joint shower in the disabled shower -- don't tell anybody!
I hope that someday you will all forgive Joey and I for lying for nearly two months, but it was a good surprise, right?! It was such a blessed Christmas for me to be home in a winter wonderland with all of those I love in the states. Definitely going back to South Africa refreshed and re-energized from all of you support. I can not thank you enough for that.

... they may have it more abundantly. I have experienced that more abudant life in these past couple of years in a way I never have before. I believe that God is planning on doing that through the Third Hope organization for these children of Uganda. These children who have experienced the thief in their lives that have stolen their peace, killed their loved ones and destroyed their lives...but in the same way that Jesus gave me my life back - and life more abundantly ...
A little change in plans, but hey that is what is so great about a road trip.
Since we saw everything we wanted to at Mall of America last night we were able to get away from Bloomington ahead of schedule by a couple of hours. Since we knew we had a little more time and our destination in Austin did not open till noon, we added a side trip to Red Wing, MN.
You are thinking why Red Wing? ...
