    ... was spent in those spots.   We were so focused on getting to the airport on time that we forgot about food, the kids found the flight hard as the only snack we had on hand were Cheetos and chocolate!!   Our flight was delayed so we were a bit later than hoped by the time we landed, after collecting our rental van (this one had a DVD player) we were a bit late for the family dinner.  So many faces we haven’t seen in a long time!! ...

    3. MY DOG & FAMILY. There are so many more people that have dogs in Rome than I expected. It wasn't one of the things I thought about before I left, but I guess I did not think I would see as many dogs as I did. Italians are also very family oriented and seeing people with their dogs and with their families made me miss mine.
