Day 25 It rained in St Pauls today so we didn't walk far from the hotel. However we did come across a lot of Charlie Brown and friends statues. The creator of the comic strip Peanuts - Schultz is from St Pauls. We also went through the Landmark building, which has a fascinating history. 4pm: Packed the car down, said bye to my parents.
4:30pm: rushed to drop off Shelby at Wagging Tails kennel
5pm: got home and the boys and I jumped into the rental and took off. Mom gave the boys a gift, which kept them busy along the ride.
11pm: got to Chicago. Met up with Jacinda at the cellphone lot near Ohare. Turned in the rental car and we headed to South Bend.
12:30pm Got to South Bend Holiday Inn and went to bed.
... just too excited and had her cell phone and home phone out calling everyone the second we left. :)p haha. The other side of my family is just to Facebook savvy. I must say, I appreciate that box for all the traveling it did and good surprises it helped create!
Lastly, it was also so much fun surprising different sets of friends too. Dang Facebook gave it away to others though (sorry!). I did my best to delete any posts each day, ...
... time to go to Amsterdam - the forecast is showing 59 degrees and rain :- / ehhh. I keep checking the forecast hoping that it will change but unfortunately it just gets worse. ... slept in a bit this morning. What a nice feeling to lay in bed for a few extra minutes and just relax. After a great breakfast and a short break in the rain, Brian and I took the bikes into Twin Cities Harley Davidson and MotoPrimo Honda for maintenance. They did a great job and got us out quickly.
