We didn't make a ton of progress on the map yesterday, but did a lot. I took the Mini in to get the oil changed and purchased some roof rack crossbars so we could go to REI and get a cargo box. It remains debatable whether we needed it or not, but it looks awesome!! A quick stop at the Mall Of America, lunch at an Italian place, Tucci Benucch, (I needed some lasagna!) Off we go! The Peoria Riverfront museum was well worth the trip into Peoria. I went to see the Jacquin exhibit on Outsider Art. Up early I dragged my feet in every way possible, I ...

... flight (Peoria to O'Hare), my mom refreshed the United website only to see that my flight had been canceled. Not delayed -- canceled. We scribbled down my flight numbers and took off in the car, hoping that the ticket agent would have some options for us. On the way to the airport I realized that my flight this afternoon from O'Hare to DC had also been canceled. What in the world?

We got to the airport and were told ...

... one exhibit individually that stand out to me in this sense. It was a setup like a painter would have with paint brush and all. It was so small and intricate that I was very impressed by the artwork.

The exhibit is open until September and I strongly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it. I wasn’t too excited at first when I went, but then I saw all the lego sculptures and it made it worth the trip. ...
