      I left my hometown in Winterset, Iowa, on August 26th, which was also the day of my 23rd birthday, mainly for a poetic start. My father had planned to join me on his Victory Vegas for the first week of the trip before driving back to the farm in Iowa.       ... there was this small town cafe - and it was packed to the seams and for very good reason. The food was excellent and oh, the home made pie was the best way to end the meal.
