    ... want to go that particular university but to get a feel for different ones and what they might like someday. As we drove into a beautiful sunset that painted the Kansas sky pink with temperatures in the 80s, I get a text from my sister-in-law saying, "Seriously, you are leaving a disaster in your wake." and a radar pic from the national weather service that says, "Missouri: tornado warning just northwest of St. Louis!!!     ... Divide. I like this title better.

    Our route took us first north on I-25 to Colorado Springs, then northeast on U.S. 24 to I-70 near Limon, CO, then DUE EAST to the Kansas border, and on to Hays. Basically, this was a driving day with no particular stops planned along the way, but the drive from Hays to St. Louis will be even longer (515 miles).

    Wifi booster accessed wifi from nearby McDonalds, Tim Horton's, Canadian Walmarts and public libraries.

    Cell phone booster for phone calls and 3G data (internet and emails) boosted a weak Verizon signal.

    A one-micron water filter allowed us to make our own drinking water.

    Good Day Friends!

    John and I roused ourselves a tad earlier than usual...6AM to be exact. We had coffee while starting the finishing touches of stashing travel gear in our rig, "George." Watered all the house plants, checked our list 2 more times, and hitched up the Honda. Bye Bye Broken Arrow!
