... Kansas City. We passed through Kansas City and headed for the University of Kansas on recommendation of the Fishers. Good one too. What a beautiful campus and area. They told us to start at the Oread Hotel. We started and stuck around there for a late linner (lunch/dinner). My dinner was delicious at the Bird Dog in the hotel. We ventured up to the rooftop as recommended by the hotel staff. Pretty awesome view of everything including the campus. We like to hit campuses if we can, not ...

    Baby wipes and paper ...

    Travel Day

Last night we had several hard rain storms with high winds, and this morning it was overcast with light rain. We headed out around 9:30 traveling west on US 56 to the city of Council Grove, where we went to visit the “Kaw Mission State Historic Site”, unfortunately it was closed today. At this point it started to ...

    Good Day Friends!

John and I roused ourselves a tad earlier than usual...6AM to be exact. We had coffee while starting the finishing touches of stashing travel gear in our rig, "George." Watered all the house plants, checked our list 2 more times, and hitched up the Honda. Bye Bye Broken Arrow!

The weather was perfect....then we picked up a 20MPH wind from SE at I-35 that stayed ...
