Today, we took a trip to Roseville - outside of Minneapolis for a little shopping. They have an REI there and we picked up a backpack and walking sticks. We found that walking sticks worked well in Hawaii and after yesterday's hiking, they would work well on the Mainland.
We also explored around the campsite. Our campground is located right on the banks of the St. Croix river. In fact, if you were ...

My plan was to lay in bed until about 8am when we get up so I'm just relaxing, trying to doze back off to sleep when just after 7am.... BANG! ... BANG!! Sarah and I woke up with quite a jolt!! We both looked at each other and realized that it was Jim out shooting birds. I tell you, nothing wakes you up quicker than the sound ...
