We departed Lake Minnetonka around 10:30a, picked up the hounds and headed north / east. We had a nice drive up here on Sunday. We arrived and got set up just before the tornado warnings with severe thunderstorms befused with lightening and thunder. Needless to say we ate indoors. Bob took Meatball for a much needed walk in the middle of the storm and Meatball had a nice swim in the lake in the middle of it all. Thunder doesn't seem to bother him.

Today, we took a trip to Roseville - outside of Minneapolis for a little shopping. They have an REI there and we picked up a backpack and walking sticks. We found that walking sticks worked well in Hawaii and after yesterday's hiking, they would work well on the Mainland.

... grounds. Then we headed for Gooseberry Falls. We hiked up to the upper falls and then followed the trail to the lower falls. There was a lot of people just chilling out by the falls. We even seen a cave man. See the attached picture.
We took a couple of other hikes around Beaver Bay and Silver Bay. Once we reached Schroeder, we stopped at the bridge to see yet another falls.
We had dinner on our way back to Hinckley.

My last day on the farm! It started with the chicken chores, then I helped harvest for the vegetable box delivery to Cambridge and then also started taking out the bok choy and the womboks. Well, all the ones that had bolted anyway! Ran into a couple of snakes as well... Blah they just startle you cause they're always hiding in the rows of vegetables and then you put your hand down to grab one out of the ground and RAH! ...
