So go to a ski resort and their is literally not one flake of snow around. It was a good thing that on the way there we stopped off at frisco and hung out in that cute little village and had lunch and played in the snow. We arrived there later in the afternoon so I decided to catch up on some washing and let the kids swim in their amazing swimming …

... Park and then follows the Fraser River and Colorado River into Glenwood Springs.  It was definitely worth the trip.  It takes about 5 1/2 hour by train and is a 2 1/2 hour drive via I-70 to get to Glenwood Springs.  It wasn't about being in Glenwood, it was about the trip there and back.  Absolutely beautiful trip. There has only been praise from the skiers as well. The smooth running over the last ...

... they all stood up and were able to ski down the course uninjured. Given the g forces that they absorb when flying down the course I am amazed that they can even stand up!

That afternoon/evening we strolled around Beaver Creek Village and enjoyed the festivities. It was a real party feeling. Champagne tastings from Korbel (California) which we wholeheartedly enjoyed several of. Dinner at the Blue Moose Pizza - Colorado ...

This morning we packed up and said goodbye to The Wine Country Inn and Palisade Colorado. Our next destination is Glenwood Springs which is just a short drive East. To keep in custom with our trip it took us nearly 6 hours to go 88 miles but we sure had fun along the way.

Eric found a place called Rifle Falls State Park that he thought we should detour to and explore. We pulled into this little place in the middle of nowhere and paid our $1.75 ...
