So go to a ski resort and their is literally not one flake of snow around. It was a good thing that on the way there we stopped off at frisco and hung out in that cute little village and had lunch and played in the snow. ... of ways: skiing at high speeds up to 130km through challenging turns, shallow dips, flats, and jumps. This course had all these elements in it, as well as a big jump intended to complicate matters just before the finish, which was thrill both for the racer and the spectators.

... Cafe. Obviously the best value place to eat/drink as it is packed every evening. Happy hour is 3-6pm and great value. Local microbrewery beers on tap. Colorado Amber Ale is a favourite of ours. Their Bowl of Chilli is hot, warming and filling. The burgers are fantastic (better than Two Moos), Enchiladas tasty but not sure about the orange cheese, Nachos is superb - a generous portion that well and truly satisfied us for less than $10!

It was farewell to the lovely town of Aspen today and time to move on to our next stop, Beaver Creek. We hired a car for the two hour drive as we wanted to take our time to see some of the amazing scenery of the Glenwood Canyon.

About 20 miles in all we could see to out left was solid black from the sky to the ground with multiple lightning strikes within the storm. Out here there are few underpasses and it was an uninhabited area as well. I will tell you with no shelter in sight I prayed multiple times that we would keep going towards our right and NOT left.
