I'm not complaining...but 17 hours on a plane, even a very nice Thai Airways plane is a LONG time. Thank God, Buddha and my lucky stars that they had those tv screens on the seatbacks. Free new movies, (choice of 10), TV shows, 1 or 2 player video games, language lessons in any language, travel shows on Asian countries...I don't know if I would have made it without distraction. We thought about camping, but decided that staying in a hotel would be more convenient since we have to get Janis to the airport around 11. We decides to stay the Quality Inn, which has complimentary wi-fi, continental breakfast, and a indoor pool. It is comfortable here and it's nice to be on a real bed. Goodnight! The Galapagos is a bit off the backpacking trail due to the expense, but was a place we definitely did not want to miss.
