In Puerto Vallarta we're taking the complete city tour that includes a stop at a Tequilla factory...sweeeet! We can also set up this tour to go to anywhere we'd like, like the beach, which sure sounds good to me! Can't wait.
We'll friends it's been a blast, but this was the last stop on the Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana Train. We're in Auburn Hills just outside of Rochester NY. It's not as big or as fancy as California, but they do what they can. I also found a great place for BBQ called Dinosaur BBQ which was fantastic. Oh well I have to cut it short Miley is about to get on the stage!!!
Auburn Hills, Michigan, United States buckle64After saying our goodbyes to everyone at Cedarlane RV Park this morning, we're on the road to Michigan, in the home! Gray skies and cool winds can't dampen our spirits - we are SO looking forward to this next week's travels - when we leave Michigan, we'll head south on I-75 towards Florida, with a two ...
Hartland, Michigan, United States pykesonthegoWe're heading west to go home after a fantastic summer.
It feels so right to be back on my bike again, it's like we never parted.
Was on the road by noon. A good, albeit wet, ride today. A bit of delay at the Sarnia/Port Huron border for Matt to renew his visa waiver form but no complaints ...
... of the most fantastic thunder storms we had ever seen in our lives. Really cool but the tiniest bit scary when in a tent.
Columbiaville is a great little town with a great little pub that our team visited regularly just to ensure we were helping the local economy and not being a burden. We had some fantastic nights of Karaoke and Jesse stunned everyone with his amazing skills with an audience, everyone was enthralled.
We spent most of our ...
... we were off to a good start. Soon the Coopers Hawk was trying to raid the martin house and the darned chipmunks were climbing up into the robin's nest regularly leaving beautiful aqua blue egg shells scattered on the ground. It was quite a surprise watching those little buggers scale the brick walls. Although the robin finally had a successful hatch it left the nest prematurely and has been hiding around the yard. I've even ...
Sylvan Lake, Michigan, United States kitchenshrink... couldn't figure out which direction we were coming from cause she had the stupid thing screwed up! She had us booked on the other side. We did the calculations and decided to drive and drive and drive! We drove through Chicago, (sorry no pictures, it was in the middle of the night) pictures are in my head though!! lol.
Finally the other pictures that I post are just some random pictures we took. Didn't stop much to do anything but let Sassy pee and us too.... m
We left Ottawa at 1:30 today. After 800km of driving we reached Flint, Michigan. The drive was great-going through Toronto was smooth. We hit the most spectacular thunder and lightning show all the way from London to Flint-never seen anything like this before!! Teenagers survived the first day. Luckily ...
Flint, Michigan, United States wheretheydrive... refuse to learn. So as a rule of thumb, if you're expending a lot of energy and you're not getting anywhere then it's probably not meant to be. Last weekend was a perfect example of beshart. I was headed to St. Joseph, Missouri to do what in my work is called an "On Demand" assignment. I had been asked to provide a reintegratioon presentation - more military jargon. I dragged my tired butt to the airport where I headed down ...
Waterford, Michigan, United States kitchenshrinkI was in America for less than 12 hours and I had already eaten 2 bagels. Oh man, how I missed them! While waiting in line at Starbucks in LA (I NEEDED coffee), I was wearing my backpack and I had attached my woven sun hat to the top for easy carrying and storage in the overhead bins on my planes. This woman came up behind me and asked if I was going to Pheonix. "No ...
