... hotel is pretty nice. We plan on getting breakfast on the road tomorrow since the hotel charges for breakfast, but our parking was included which is rare for a downtown hotel. The room is a really nice size. Once we get to a normal small hotel room, we will be really claustrophobic after these nice big rooms.

We are in to Wisconsin now...the city of Superior and Duluth, Minnesota where we got to see a HUGE, 768-foot ship come into the harbor.

You need to watch this movie to see how very long this ship is as it comes through the channel.

Finally, I focused in on the highlight of the park: the swinging bridge across the St Louis. I've heard this is the fourth bridge to span the river at that spot, the third notably destroyed in a 2012 flood (good ...

        Fields of Dandies

        ... never receive a bouquet of dandelions. I can't; I won't.

First, we change the name to Dandies. Then we celebrate their growth, their legacy. Grass is boring; dandies are beautiful.

So imagine my delight when I arrive at my trailhead in Jay Cooke State Park, only to find a Field of Dandies.
