Our summer journey has come to an end

... 156 miles to the west of Québec, an easy three-hour drive. The tent camping season is over, and we stayed at the Holiday Inn in an excellent location near the old city. Like Québec, Montreal is an attractive city, but we were surprised to see several groups of homeless people sleeping in alleys and on sidewalks and holding signs begging to cars stopped at traffic lights.

As of last week I have been accepted to teach abroad in China for an entire year starting this February 2015 with CIEE (Council on International Education and Exchange)! I cannot wait to see what I can offer the other side of the world and vise versa :) I won't be updating my blog much before I leave, but will try to keep up to date once I start my adventure on the other side of the world. I will ideally being doing at least 2 entires a week...fingers crossed.

I'm here in Miami safely getting to know students who will be traveling to Paraguay, Panamá and Costa Rica. I will be leaving for Sao Paulo in a few hours and then catch a connecting flight to Asunción, the capitol of Paraguay.
