You may have student loans, or you may be that 2% who paid off their student debt, who never went out, and grudgingly saved their dollars to buy a hyundai and a condo. You are wiser, but still don't know where the time went. You have started dying your hair more often and say things like, "this place is full of young people" and "i'm staying home tonight because i'd rather watch entourage." Going out as a 27 year old is an eye-opener. You see kids you ...

Water taxis bring residents from other parts of the city along the rivers, and there is a terraced area for enjoying the sun and view of the river.

Seeing the farm through their eyes now puts things into perspective as to how things must have looked around this homestead back then. Dad developed so much of these 80 acres, adding buildings including machine sheds, woodsheds, a big large equipment parking lot, and of course building our house and garage with ...

... unfortunate events, Book 2: The Reptile Room, and it was just as good as it was the first time I listened to it when Canyon was little and also as second time with Mara, when she was. The girls really traveled well, even covered in day-old mosquito bites, beach sand, and sticky fingers from eating in the car. Tonight's showers at grandma and grandpa's were well-earned. We will sleep good tonight. It feels great to be home. The Big Bog never looked so ...

          Almost out of Ontario

... the $800 entry fee (oh, and the boat and motor). Getting here was another long day's drive. There is a fair bit of repaving being done along with bridge repairs. Those pauses didn't cause much harm, though that one long gravel stretch sure dirtied up the trailer. We didn't stop for a family picture at the giant snowman in Beardmore, but probably should've taken a moment to stop on our way to Nipigon to take in the landscape -- some mini-mountains, the rocky ...
