    ... the West. Unfortunately we are still waiting to get our certificate, so we do not know if we will be able to do much working on this trip. Will let you know as we travel.

    Three days drive to New Orleans. Slept last night in Naples, then drove past Venice! Dry and sunny.

    Endless driving on open 2 or 3 lane motor ways, through green country. This Interstate was one of the network of roads started by Eisenhower in the the mid-50s and completed 35 years later . Regular stops for a hundred varieties of fast food, fuel and lodging. Only time we got held up ...

    After 3 days at the hot and sweaty Wanee festival, way down on the Suwannee river, the music of the Allman Brothers is alive and well. The band founded the festival here years ago.
