... We were clueless - missed it, but heard it was the last for this group that have been doing it there for 35 years… getting old they said! Most were well into their 80s.We packed up Mazy as water dog and went on some great hikes through the bayou saw birds and armadillo everywhere. Drove The Maze crazy! Really enjoyed the park in the bayou!
... Theo...otherwise I wouldn't have seen him.
Tonight we'll probably catch the State of the Union address...it'll seem really exciting compared to the weather news we've been hearing all day! Tomorrow? well, here's hoping we can head west and hopefully out of this current weather!
Florence just proofed this for me and thought I might mention that this is the first time since we started RVing that we haven't bothered to get out of our PJs!

Saturday, I played in the softball tournament. Some teams didn't show up, so we won a game due to forfeit. Then, we actually won a game by merit! We ended up in 3rd place for the tourney. Not bad for a new team with a bunch of older guys, and I think possibly the only team with girls too. I am looking forward to next season.

... the nearest casino. The buffet ended up being the best deal and was a good choice. I'm still in the Vegan mode but found plenty of good food choices. We played some poker machines but ended up even, at the end of the day.
I'm including some pictures of homes on North Lakeshore Drive. We took a short drive in this area, which is way cool.
