We are on our way to Houston for our 11 hour layover. We thought we were being so smart with our luggage and packing everything and taking next to nothing on board. We are about to go through customs when someone in our group said the baggage was not coming off and being directly forwarded to Belize city. Recent experiences have me worried... We are only here for 2 nights before we start making our way to Pensacola. We will have stops in Louisiana and Mississippi but only for one night each, so I doubt there will be anything to really report for a few days.

We always ask for safe travels in our daily prayers, but perhaps you'd do us a favor and include us in yours as well. Thanks.

We decided to go downstairs and get a bite to eat out we went to a little cafe which was Indian/pizza it was a little weird but nice and mello. There are so many homeless people around, everywhere! I knew it was a problem over here but it's gone way beyond my imagination of the actual amount there is! They are on every corner near enough. After food strolled back to the hotel, watched the news for a little and checked our bags out. New Orleans ...
