    ... also a very pleasant surprise. It is very much a college town,clean,safe ,friendly, with great restaurants and numerous museums. We moved on to Independence in the rain. Calling ahead we couldn't find an RV park that had an opening until I located a place called Stadium Rv. They were willing to take us and the weather was getting worse so we headed there.     We woke up this morning and decided to take it pretty leisurely as our train left at 2pm and we had done pretty much all we wanted to do in Chicago (plus we had our massive bags which we didn't want to lug around too much!)     ... us entertained till the next rest stop and we decided to make it a competition. We stopped later for lunch, our last meal in the US.
