... snapped a quick photo. They were wearing body armor, which must have been quite uncomfortable in the heat.

Finally we arrived at the airport about 1:00 pm. I thanked the men and paid them and unloaded by bags. I had to extricate myself and my luggage from voracious baggage handlers, one of whom complained indignantly "but it’s my job!" I replied “it’s my job too” and he finally gave up.

Since I was quite early check-in formalities ...

The last 2 months have almost flown by. We still seem to have so much to do to get ready, its hard to believe we start our travels in 36 hours.

Thursday/Friday were tough days saying good bye to everyone at work but the excitement is also building as we approach Monday (launch day).

    ... shooting range, where we got to shoot a 12 gauge shotgun at some clay pigeons - turns out I'm not so good at moving targets :).
